Zeuxius
Pintor de la Magna Grecia. Nació en Heraclea, a mediados del siglo V. Y murió enÉfeso. Lo más destacado de sus obras fuero murales, en las que representaba figuras humanas sin proporción. Las obras que le dieron fama, fue las que pintó para decorar el palacio real de Macedonia, Pella. También dirigió conParrasio, la escuela pictórica de Jonia. Se especializó en temas mitológicos.
